This is a video of my preparation for a watercolor portrait painting demonstration for a local art association. The subject is Mario, a bartender in Sorrento, Italy that always knew what beer I liked. Originally, I drew a graphite portrait and sent it to him, but i decided to paint it as well. This video represents the last of 3 steps I used to prepare the demonstration portrait. The previous steps are part of the first 9 or so minutes. It is deliberately not finished so that I have something to complete. I only had about 1 hour to work, so a step process was required.
