Congratulations to All It was indeed an honor to be asked by the New Jersey Water Color Society to serve as the Juror of Awards for this year’s Open Exhibition. The school of realism was well represented with many landscapes and figurative work but what really stood out were the number of very well done, complex still lives. I am always looking for those pieces which display a strong sense of light and can tell me a story. How successfully the artist conveys their vision and commands the medium is what ultimately makes their work stand out. I would like to congratulate the award winners and all of the participating artists for making this an exciting show to view and one that the society can be proud of.
